Add Storefront Images

Manage the images available to your storefront using the storefront settings in your Nautical dashboard. Images are stored in Nautical's media content delivery network (CDN) to optimize loading times. After you upload an image, you can use it in your storefront editor.

Upload an image

1. Go to Storefront settings -> Media.
2. Select Upload media.
3. In the Upload image window, do one of the following to add the image:
   • Drag-and-drop an image onto the pane.
   • Click inside the pane, and then select an image from your device.
4. (Optional) Enter an image Title.
5. (Optional) Enter Alt text for image accessibility.
6. Select Save.

Add an image to the storefront

1. Go to your storefront.
2. From the account menu, open the Editor.
3. Select Edit for the page you want to add the image to.
4. Add one of the following components that support images:
   • Hero Section
   • Image
   • Image Carousel
5. Select the component.
6. From the right pane, select Pick an image.
7. Choose the image you uploaded.
8. Select Publish to make your changes live.

Round image corners

You can only round corners for images in the Hero Section or Image components.

1. In the storefront editor, select the component with the image.
2. From the right pane, turn on the Rounded or Round Image Corners option.
3. Select Publish to save your changes.

Edit image aspect ratio

note

You can only change the aspect ratio for the Image component.

1. In the storefront editor, select the component with the image.
2. From the right pane, use the Aspect ratio field to choose the image dimensions.
3. Select Publish to save your changes.
