Customize Reports
You can customize your reports with custom filters, columns, and date settings. When you refresh the page or revisit the page later, all customizations will be cleared and reports will revert to their default settings.
Edit columns
You can add and remove columns in most tabular reports or when viewing the underlying data for any report.
Add or remove columns
- On the Analytics -> Reports page, go to the report you want to edit.
- Select the gear icon.
- Choose which columns to show in the report.
Rearrange columns
- On the Analytics -> Reports page, go to the report you want to edit.
- Select the gear icon.
- Drag-and-drop columns to rearrange them.
Edit the time period
Most reports let you set a date range to customize the reporting period. Only bar charts let you choose a date grouping.
Set a date range
- On the Analytics -> Reports page, go to the report you want to edit.
- Select Date range to open the calendar tool.
- Choose a date rage.
- Click outside of the calendar tool.
The report will refresh the data using the selected date range.
Edit the date grouping
- On the Analytics -> Reports page, go to the report you want to edit.
- Select an option under Date grouping.
The date grouping can be daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly.
Use custom filters
Some reports offer quick filters to narrow the data, for example by customer or seller. You also add custom filters to narrow the data with specific criteria.
You can add custom filters in most tabular reports or when viewing the underlying data for any report. You can combine multiple filters to narrow down your data further.
Filter components
A filter is made up of a column

Column: The column identifies a data field. For example:

Operator: The operator defines how the data in the column is compared to the value. Different columns support different operators based on their data type. For example,

Value: The value is a specific word, date, or number that you want to filter by. The value must match the data type of the column. For example:

Add filters
- On the Analytics -> Reports page, go to the report you want to edit.
- Select the filter button.
- In the Column list, select a column to filter by.
- In the Operator list, select an operator.
- In the Value list, enter the value to filter by. The value is case sensitive.
- Press enter or select outside the filter box to apply the filter.
- To add more filters, select Add filter.
