Email Payloads

When an email is triggered, such as a buyer placing an order, Nautical sends an email payload to SendGrid. This payload includes details related to the event and recipient, which SendGrid uses to insert dynamic information like the recipient's name and order details into the email.

You can customize your email templates to include additional information from the payload with SendGrid Handlebars. The following pages showcase sample payloads to see you what data you can use for each type of email.
