Product inventory
Nautical tracks product inventory at the product variant level. Variants must have inventory to be able to be displayed in the storefront.
A variant is in stock if it has unallocated quantity at a warehouse. Nautical tracks the inventory available at each warehouse location and automatically updates stock levels with order events unless the Track inventory feature is turned off.
You can input your own SKU tracking number on products, however, Nautical will assign a system-generated Nautical Stock Number to each variant for inventory tracking, regardless of whether you add a SKU.
