Assign product inventory

Product inventory is either managed on each product or each variant of a product. Select a product listing to view the inventory present for that product and its variants, if applicable.

Assign product inventory

Assign stock quantity at each warehouse on the product variant.

Before you start

Make sure the warehouses you will assign stock to have been created and have shipping zones assigned to them.

Steps

1. In the dashboard, navigate to Products -> Listings. To assign product inventory to variants, navigate to Products -> Variants.

2. Select a product or variant.

3. In the Inventory section, select Add warehouse.

4. Select a warehouse from the dropdown menu, then select Assign.

5. Update the In stock field to the amount of product inventory in the warehouse.

6. Select Save. Once these inventory values are saved, they are recorded in the Stock activity section.

tip

When you receive new stock, keep the quantity available up-to-date to avoid false out-of-stock messages.
